beaut 1. anything exceptional, excellent: e.g. What a beaut house he has right on the beach!
2. pertaining to reproval or reproach: e.g. You're a beaut! Now look what you've done.
beauty (bewdy) 1. an exclamation of approval: e.g. Beauty! We'll all go to the pub and celebrate.
2. an exceptional example: e.g. That old car is a bewdy.
3. advantage: e.g. The beauty of this job is the hours.
bend the elbow drink excessively (usually beer): e.g. Mary's been bending the elbow alot lately.
bib and tucker one's (best) clothes
bickies 1. biscuits: e.g. Do you want some milk with your bickies? (cookies)
2. money: e.g. I bet that house cost alot of bickies.
Big-note yourself. attempt to inflate yourself.
billy
Boil the billie.
a tin container used for boiling water, making tea etc. usually when out camping.
bingle minor auto accident: e.g. I almost had a bingle with Pam's car, learning to drive on the other side of the road.

Bities collective term for anything that bites,
eg spiders, bull ants, snakes, etc.
bitser Animal (ususally in refererence to a dog) of mixed blood or stock.
bizzo 1. Nonsense; foolish, irrelevant details or matters. e.g. He's into politics and all that bizzo.
2. term for an object of which you might not know the actual name. e.g. Pass me that bizzo there on the bench.
blimey Exclamation of surprise or amazement (also: gorblimey)
blockie 1. person living on some land as opposed to one living in town.
2. small farmers
bloke fellow; man; e.g. He's a good bloke.
bloody 1. Considered to be the all time great Aussie expressive adjective because of it's prolific use and ability to signify approval or disapproval: e.g. "This bloody nong drove right up the bloody back of me bloody car and wiped the whole bloody back end off!
Bloody ripper! Now I can claim on me bloody insurance and get a bloody brand new car."
2. euphaemism for damned: e.g. "He's a bloody idiot!"
3. very; extremely; e.g. "She's bloody gorgeous!"
bloody oath! expression of complete agreement; amazement, wonder, etc.
bloomer an embarrassing, laughable mistake, person or situation

bludge 1. do nothing; be lazy, idle, inactive; evade work or responsibilities.(can be verb or noun) e.g. "He bludged all weekend, drinking beer with the mates."
2. borrow, take, cadge with no intention of paying back; impose on others: e.go. "Can I bludge a smoke off you?"
3. an easy job which entails a minimum of work: e.g. "This job's a good bludge."
bludger 1. lazy, unconstructive person; loafer, shirker
2. person who ganins profit with no effort, work or risk
3. affectionate term for a friend, mate, or person. e.g. "G'day you old bludger!"
bluey 1. summons issued by police. e.g. "I got a bluey for speeding."
2. cattle-dog; kelpie
3. nick-name for a friend, mate, red-haired person.
4. swag, blanket carried by the travelling swaggie. (obsolete)
5. a ten-dollar note
board shorts type of swimming trunks made popular by surfers
boardie surfboard-riding enthusiast; surfie
bodgie 1. term from the 1950's for a man who dressed in a particular style, behaved in a wild and uncouth manner with little regard for the Establishment.
2. workthless, counterfeit, inferior.
bombora submerged reef.
bonza/bonzer excellent; terrific; very good.

bottle shop store, part of a hotel where alcohol may be purchased to take away.
Bowerbird compulsive hoarder. Petty thief.
